Today was an odd day. The new bell schedule is honestly just annoying.

I got quite a bit done though, learned how to make transparent background in photoshop, finished my index page.

Lakers beat the Hornets to pull ahead of the Jazz

Last night, the Lakers defeated the Hornets in a tough game at home.

Kobe had 30 pts, 23 of which were in the 4th quarter, and Gasol had 22 pts with 11 rebounds. In my opinion, this game was one of the best gasol has had all season. The return of Metta World Peace also helped out greatly on Defense.

Lakers are now a half game ahead of the Jazz after their loss to OKC

Lakers playoff run

After their loss to the Clippers and the Jazz’s victory over the Warriors, Utah has now pulled ahead of the lakers in the race to 8th spot in the Western Conference. In terms of difficulty of their schedules, Lakers debatably have the harder schedule.

Who would you like to see take the 8th spot in the western conference?

Kobe Injured. Can the Lakers hold onto 8th spot?

Kobe Injured. Can the Lakers hold onto 8th spot?

In a tough game against the Hawks last night, Kobe rolled his ankle as he attempted to tie the game with less than a minute less with a jumper. Everyone in the crowd was devastated.

The real question here is, can the Lakers hold onto their 8th spot in the Western Conference to make the playoffs. Can Nash, MWP, Howard and the returning Gasol prevent the team from being completely knocked out of the playoffs?
